Important Notice: Temporary Pause on BDA System Testing and Activation

In consideration of the upcoming G20 event within our jurisdiction, and to minimize the risk of potential radio interference countywide, the Miami-Dade County CITD Radio Division, acting in its capacity as the Frequency License Holder (FLH), has implemented a temporary pause on the testing of BDA systems operating in the 450, 700, and 800 MHz bands of the Miami-Dade County licensed spectrum.

This pause will be in effect from November 23 through December 18, 2026, and applies to all RF testing involving transmissions or the activation of RF amplifiers within these frequency bands. This includes, but is not limited to, acceptance testing and post-installation surveys.

During this period, all active BDA system components, including head-end and remote units, must remain powered off. The installation of passive components, such as cables, antennas, and couplers, may proceed as usual.

The CITD Radio Division is distributing this notification to all vendors involved in new and existing BDA deployments.

Your cooperation and understanding are greatly appreciated.
