Broward County Approves Two-Way Radio Communications Enhancement Systems Guidelines

The BDA Committee under the Broward County Board of Rules and Appeals has approved and posted its Two-Way Radio Communications Enhancement Systems Guidelines.

BDA Committee Chair David Rice stresses that these are indeed guidelines; not code. The posted document explains the county’s policy on two-way RCES and should help streamline key processes for all parties. 

Work on the guidelines has been underway for about a year. During the process, the Safer Buildings Coalition has provided valuable input and feedback to help shape the approved version of this important document.
